The Katia Fabrics Sunflower Countryside jersey knit fabric features a charming sunflower print on a light background, evoking the warmth of the countryside and sunny days. It is a soft, elastic, and comfortable fabric, ideal for cool, cheerful, and very pleasant-to-the-touch clothing.
It is composed of 95% cotton and 5% elastane, which gives it elasticity and recovery, perfect for fitted garments or those with movement. With an approximate width of 145–150 cm, this fabric is ideal for making t-shirts, dresses, leggings, pajamas, baby clothes, bodysuits, turbans, or children's sets.
Thanks to its OEKO-TEX® certificate, it is a safe fabric for contact with sensitive skin, especially recommended for children and babies.
Me Gusta Coser's advice: use a jersey or ballpoint needle (70/10 or 80/12) and elastic stitch or twin needle for hems. Do not stretch the fabric when sewing to maintain its shape. Wash cold, avoid tumble drying, and iron inside out if necessary.
