The Jersey Africa Coordinated knit fabric from Katia Fabrics is a medium-weight, soft, and substantial stretchy fabric, ideal for comfortable, modern, and stylish garments. Its African-inspired print, in warm, earthy tones, makes it a very versatile option for children's, youth, or women's clothing.
Made with 95% cotton and 5% elastane, this fabric has a width of 145–150 cm and is perfect for making t-shirts, dresses, leggings, pajamas, bodysuits, activewear sets, or accessories like turbans and hats. The elastane provides gentle stretch and excellent recovery, making it especially comfortable for fitted garments or everyday wear.
As an OEKO-TEX® certified cotton knit, it is suitable for sensitive skin and perfect for children's projects or garments that come into direct contact with the skin.
Me Gusta Coser's Tip: For a perfect finish, use a ballpoint or jersey needle (size 70/10 or 80/12) and a stretch stitch or twin needle if sewing on a domestic machine. Do not stretch the fabric when sewing to maintain its shape. Wash cold and do not tumble dry.
