Wadding made from 100% polyester, available in two thicknesses: 100 g/m² (light) and 200 g/m² (thicker). It is a fluffy, soft, and very easy-to-work-with material, ideal for adding volume, body, or padding to sewing and decorating projects.
It is commonly used in making quilts, duvets, blankets, sleeping bags, protectors, cushions, bags, toiletry bags, covers, children's clothing, and patchwork or quilting projects. Its synthetic composition allows for frequent washing, quick drying, and good volume recovery after use.
The 100 g/m² version is perfect for thin padding or mid-season projects, while the 200 g/m² version provides thicker and more thermal padding, ideal for winter or for pieces that need more body.
Me Gusta Coser Tip: For a good result, fix the wadding with pins or basting before sewing. We recommend using a universal needle size 90/14 or higher, a long stitch, and a walking foot if the top layer tends to shift. It can be washed in cold water and should not be ironed directly.
