Lightweight batiste blend, composed of 67% polyester and 33% cotton, with an approximate width of 115 cm and a weight of 100 g/m². Its texture is fine, soft, and slightly stiff, making it a very versatile and easy-to-work-with fabric.
It is ideal for making blouses, shirts, linings, school smocks, baby clothes, handkerchiefs, patchwork details, or creative sewing, as well as for crafts, religious work, accessories, or layette projects.
Its fiber blend makes it more resistant to wear and washing than 100% cotton batiste, with the added advantage that it doesn't wrinkle as much and dries quickly.
Me Gusta Coser Tip: Wash before cutting to avoid tension from sizing. For sewing, use a fine universal needle, size 70/10 or 80/12, with a medium stitch. It allows for gentle ironing and simple sewing, even for beginners.
